How to Include Sample Calculations

Sample calculations must be included to demonstrate how a particular value was determined for your data analysis.  Sample calculations need to be hand-written on Engineering Problems Paper and added as an appendix to your report.  Sample calculations will help you understand what values you are trying to calculate before you enter the equation into your spreadsheet (or other software).  You will get a better sense of expectations by first hand-writing and solving your equations than if you were to simply enter the equation into a spreadsheet. 

The sample calculations should be completed in a methodical manner and should be easy to follow.  An example of the calculations is shown in this pdf.
